Late working farmer.
« on: September 14, 2018, 12:15:02 AM »

It  is my favorite time of the year - harvest season. I caught these images just after sunset. Since the harvest has just begun, it is unusual to see the farmers in the field this late in the day. This does not usually happen until late in the season when they have to get the crops in, then they work late.

Panasonic G9, Oly 75 1.8 at 3.5 and 1/100 sec. Iso 3200. Hand held braced against the hood of my van.

I particularly like the last photo.  Amazing lighting.

The third one is also my favorite. It is less cramped than #2 and more pleasing to my eyes than #1 but the whole set is very nice.

I often wait until it's totally dark.  I like the play of bright light against shadow.

There was no waiting. I was there, it was there, let's do it. I worked quickly as the scene was changing rapidly and I fear not for the better.
