It looks like the default naming and folder for the MP4 video files from the RX10-4 have been changed.
The video files are now in a folder named “private” in a sub folder called clips and have new file names.
All this means that compared to the RX10-2 the video files will not be found by my IPad Pro as they are not in the DCIM folder and have non 8 character file names.
Moving the mp4 files to the DCIM folder and renaming them allows the IPad to find them.
Checking the reference manual for the camera reveals that “you cannot change the folder name settings for movies”
Has anyone found a way around this or know why it was changed - it’s a bit of a pain in the butt to work around.
