not really vidoe but - Nikon Tethering
« on: August 17, 2018, 08:43:06 am »

Ive been asked to shoot this https://www.instagram.com/p/BfI62utH9Dw/?hl=en&taken-by=lindamccartneyfoods

I think the best thing is to rig my nikon D600 (I have a D3 and a GH4 too stills wise) on a rig and then remotely fire it and ideally get an image to screen which can be agreed with the client.

I have a PC laptop. I dont want to spend too much.

Any hints on a tether software??

I don’t know if it’s more than you want to spend, but CamRanger would do it to an iPad or iPhone.

For the moment ive gone with http://digicamcontrol.com

Its free open source. Open source might help me as I might be able to tie it to my motion slider to do some interesting timelapse stuff
