Merced River and Flames
« on: August 15, 2018, 09:25:13 pm »

Conditions have improved dramatically in Yosemite, but the fire still burns in parts of the lower Merced canyon.  This is from yesterday morning along the lower Merced River.  The landscape is always changing whether it be flood, fire, or landslide.

The image of the fire is strangely appealing. A bit of the Dehaze filter in Camera RAW gives it just the right dash of contrast.
