I really like the shot and concept. It is evocative and invites the viewer to want to sit and look out. One suggestion though. I think it should be somewhat brighter outside the window. It may give it an even more realistic  look.

I like the idea, Frank.

In particular the rectangular formed by the bench echoing the window. Another suggestion: I find the clouds too crunchy for the overall idea, i.e., attracting too much attention and competing with the bench and the window. So, a bit lighter, as John suggested, and softer would help, I think.

I agree with both John's and Slobodan's suggestions.
This image is worth spending time getting it just right, IMHO.

I kind of like it the way it is. Their suggestions will make the image visually balance but I like the chaotic sky in contrast to the contemplative bench.

Thank you all for your comments, I will work on the image as soon as I have time and compare it to the original. Not sure yet which I'll prefer

I agree as well to the lightening and less crunchy but what I find most interesting about the image is how it is almost two separate images. When I first opened it on my laptop, only the top half of the image was visible which was a bit of an assault on my sense of balance. However, opening the entire image showed a different view. Very interesting.

Finally had some time to work on the image. Here is my new attempt incorporating the suggestions from appreciated LuLa members (at least in the way I understood them). How do you like it?

Two different images I think, I still haven't decided which I like the most, (when viewed in my monitor)

Some comments about the image: It is a single capture where I was trying to protect the hightlights and recover shadows in post. At first I thought it did not work because the straight image OOC had the sky blown out. I then checked the image in RawDigger and the Red channel was ok, while the Green and Blue where overexposed in the sky. I though about giving a go in BW, first ACR then Nik SFX 2

Thanks for watching and for your comments.

I agreed with the earlier comments about the sky being too heavy - so I think the second version is much preferable.

Great picture

The image has two competing points of interest: the sky and the white poles field (vineyard?). If it were mine, I would have to decide which one to sacrifice: either let the sky be blown or much lighter and less crunchy, or I would darken and reduce contrast on the field.

It is a nice image. Well spotted. I would change the entire outside and just not tell anyone. Failing that 8 agree with Sobodan. Reduce contrast on the white pole are. Bring down the whites.

But I think it is a very interesting image.

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated! I guess my fascination with skyes and clouds prevents me to reduce the interest in the upper part, maybe I should then darken and reduce contrast on the field as Slobodan suggested.
