A bit steadier than the previous "vibrant green" shot but I like this one a lot and with the more subdued colors, the impression of quietness is well present.

Thanks Francois and Eric. Yes it was a quiet morning. The light was soft almost flat, so I tried to make use of the softer more subtle colours and tones. Like this one.

Thanks again Francois and Eric. Yesterday I saw two coyotes on my walk, and there was a full moon. I wonder if that is what inspired me to take this image:

I think you need a little more detail in the coyotes!   ;)

Nice otherwise.

I can assure you the coyotes are under that moon somewhere. Just look at that beautiful out of focus orb.
The coyotes are skittish after all. Of late there have some attacks on people and dogs. The authorities have had to
act and either put them down or take them away. It looks like they may do the same in Toronto very soon.

I know it's early, but I just wanted to wave the old year goodbye. At least I got to go out for walks.

I love the clean blue and white color combination. Well done again!

Sometimes the winter and being housebound can really get you down. Looking through my files, I decided to embrace the blue gloom - and even added a touch of blue to accentuate the feeling of winter.

Yes, "super cool", a deliberate pun on winter no doubt! How about an allusion to the ant that walked into an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Na, it's just another bug sent from Microsoft to infect a Google server farm.

Thanks Eric. I flipped the second image over. It reflects the land on thin ice in a marshy area.

Here is another which to me expresses the quiet and stillness of early winter in a mashy area. Everything is melting for now. But come January, I am sure the big freeze will take over.

That's nice, too. And I do like the "flipped" one a lot.
(I should nave figured out that it was flipped, but I didn't look closely enough at first.)

That's OK. I don't want you to flip out. One more to show the stillness and quiet of the river bed and the surviving trees.
