These last two are excellent, and closer to "realistic" than we expect from you, John, but highly effective.

Thank you Francois and Eric. Yes, the first is a straight shot of many trees behind each other. The second is in-camera double exposure of two separate images.

A walk through High park where I found this cluster of trees and lined them up, just so...then tried a new slow-mo technique.

Another fine bunch, John.
A question: In High park, how many treees did you have to physically move to the correct locations?   ;)

You correctly observed the lilac garden does not look quite right. It is a double exposure with some parts overlapping. It came out Ok, so I thought I would post it. The official name is Lilac Dell. The Farmer was not in the Dell; but for a price you can get a monkey to chase a weasel.

Joining the ranks of the informal, it echoes the gentle warm breezes of that day.

Another very nice one.

The few times I've tried any "ICM" stuff all I get is the "ST." That is the Senile Twitch.    :(

Thanks Eric. When I observe people trying ICM, I notice they whip the camera around. For the most basic technique, just try to move the camera in downward motion at 1/4 to 1/15 of sec. during exposure. The motion is not that fast. About the speed of moving your hands from your eye glasses to your pocket. From there you can either speed up or slow the movement. In practice, it means pressing the shutter at same time as you move the camera. Because it is all instantaneous. That's the trick.

When it rains it pours...or does it rain at all?

The Ballet director said, "start over from the top."

'No, no...good effort but too male centred. Bring the other dancers forward'

'Much better... wait...mon dieu... who crossed their legs at the top'

'Once more, but this time I want to see more sweep, like the weeping of the willow tree'

'Much better. Go home and take the rest of the day off.'

Now for a change of pace and scenery. Looks awesome in bw also. But sometimes I can't bring myself to give up the 'real' tones and colours of late afternoon light.
BTW, I charge five dollars a day for each parking spot ;)

Sometimes when the light is harsh, I still try things. This one came out rather nice--and somewhat dark and mysterious.

Added this bw shot with slightly different composition.

I like both versions of the trees.
As for the building, I'm astonished that the building wiggled at exactly the same rate as you ICM wiggle! Good timing.   ;)

Yes, the building knows me because I walk by it frequently. Thanks Eric.
