Of these last three, I especially like the first two.
The second works just perfectly as black and white. Bravo!

The latter image is a double exposure, one still, one ICM. Sometimes it just gets mushy and this one is somewhat mushy. I left brightness mode on inadvertently which exaggerates the effect. While you replied I was as about to replace it with this one. Thanks for the comments Eric.

Never replace, John! Only add!

This one is nice, but it is good to see black and white from you too. We know you are adept at color.

I like it, John, but that lens really needs work.

I like it too.
That lens gives a pretty good impression of my own vision these days, with my twice daily eyedrops for Glaucoma in both eyes and my monthly shots in both eyes for retinal damage.

Oh, to have good eyes again, like the young Russ Lewis...    :)

Indeed. I can't even hold the camera as steady as he does and I have 30 years to go! The irony is, even though we are in the age of Image stabilization (IS) I still often choose to turn it off. The results can be surprising if one does ICM with the IS on. Even though we all slow down with age, I hope that I can do some of what you guys do when I get there! Keep taking those drops Eric. All the best!!

Me too.

And thanks, John. These days all my photos are taken with both IS and Autofocus turned on, and although I agree in principle with Russ's "Crop in the camera" ethic, these days I usually have to allow a little bit of extra all around with the intention of cropping in LightRoom, just because seeing the edge details in the finder is questionable.   :(

But I'm still having fun!   :)

From the serene green of the last few images to the surreal of bw. Just follow the path.

Did you have to whisper a magic incantation when you moved from the Forest of Color to the B&W one?

I like #2 from yesterday, John. Lens still needs lots of work though.

Yes. I threatened, you turn out good or I will abandon you BW.

What? How will I get home if I can't shake and vibrate my way back.

Thanks guys.

Spectacular sunset clouds taken with my Canon point and shoot, as I call it. On the way to the grocer.

Not a great image, but I immediately thought of 'spacing' and everything is between something.

JR

Betwixt and between.

Even the pairs of trees are spaced the same as the couple on the bench.
Good seeing.

Don't knock it, John. It may not be abstract (fuzzy and our of focus), but it's pretty good street. The positions of the legs are what make it work.
