Thank you Russ. The guys in the coffee corner should go out more often and stretch their legs. It has the added benefit of making you taller.

I was hoping the bus would move forward so that red line could go right across the bottom and be nice counterpoint to the yellows and blues. No luck. But I still like it.

JR

Edit, red elongated.

A little PhotoShop work would do it easily. Copy the bus and move it to the right edge, so that with the original it makes a long bus.

Thanks Eric. You made me relearn old tricks. It worked.

I've posted similar images, but I really like this one because all the shadows came together nicely.

John, I have a hunch Lee Friedlander would appreciate your stuff. Are you familiar with his work?

I've seen the name but can't say I have seen or am familiar with his work. I will look him up.

Light and shadow:

On Church steps.

Sometimes harsh shadows can really help define a subject.

Good shooting, John. Friedlander would love that last one. I'd agree with him.

Thanks guys. I had a tough time choosing between the the bw and the colour. See above. They both look great because the image is so graphic.

When you walk the same route, you never know what will catch your eye.

Was finally able to get into a park where I could sink my teeth into some ICM on this wonderful spring day. About 2 hours ago, in fact. Just have to keep my distance.

It's nice to see you using your Russ Lewis Blurry Lens again.
It looks as if you kept a good 6 feet away from your subjects.
