Light and forms are just perfect in this one.
Thank you Eric!

Along the creek, just before the big rains of today.

Nice. Did you train your cell phone to wiggle, or did you revert to using a (blush) camera?

Of course, Eric. Like the faddish mood rings of old, when I blush it gets transmitted to my camera - and voila, all becomes rosy.

Nov 3- 2019. The winds are whipping up and combining to produce some pretty wild, but still painterly images.

I love this one particularly. It reminds me of asian watercolors.

Me, too. It is quite lovely.

I'm a big fan of these as you know, John, but I must say that the first of these two is extraordinarily expressive. Bravo!

Thank you Eric! Although I can produce what I call 'ordinary' ICM, pretty much with one or two shots, to make something more expressive takes more effort, concentration, and trial and error. I added some grain to the trunks:

Again, thanks Eric. Maybe someday a book will emerge. For now, here is another image from the walk in High Park. Getting very cold and blustery this year. This is somewhat different from past years where we enjoyed almost late summer weather well into November.

One shows the old weathered me; the other how I feel. Such is life.

Good stuff, John. A leaf that's recognizable as a leaf. Well done.

Russ the holes in the leaf are eyes trying to wink at you and lure you from the literal to the impressionist world :) They winked at me some years ago. Thanks for the comments.
