I am not a fan of flare but it doesn't spoil a fine image!

The flare is so easy to omit, and I am sure you could do it if you felt it diminished the value of the image, but in my humble opinion, it does not.

Thanks very much to all for the comments. About the flare I did (as you guessed) consider removing it either in Lightroom or in Photoshop. But somehow I liked the line it created to the hill.

Btw. if any are interested. If I can't remove a lens flare in Lightroom using the clone or healing tool, I will open the RAW file as a smart object in Photoshop and add a layer where I then use typically the cloning tool with the color and luminous options to remove the flare and if I need to go back and edit the raw file I will then open the smart object and edit the RAW using ACR. It does creat a 10x larger file, but then it is still fully editable.
