C1Pro11 batch rename file corruption
« on: August 03, 2018, 11:23:04 am »

Hi:  Just started this issue today, yesterday C1Pro11 worked well.  When I try to rename a Sony Camera Raw image to my naming convention, C1 changes the raw file into a Unix executable file.  Same A7RIII raw compressed size, 43mb, but unusable/unreadable.  See screenshot of how the preview looks in C1 and in the Mac finder after the rename.  IF I don't rename the image, C1Pro works fine.  I deleted the session, re-downloaded the images from my card, made a new session, and have the same issue.  HELP!

HI:  SO, belay my initial panicked post.  I re-investigated my batch rename settings and had "include files extension" checked in the drop down menu, the same area where you reset the rename counter.  Don't know why I checked that box in the first place (maybe inadvertently), but when I unchecked it, all is well.  A great program, but complex in so many ways!
