Fuji GFX 50 Images Dont Open in LR :WORKS NOW

Hi, I tried to Import the images from the  Fuji GFX50 and  camera and would not open them in LR. 
 
_DSF1713.RAF    this is the file name on the images.  Any idea what is wrong ?   Thanks Dennis

  I cant seem to catch a break. I just got the camera and I should not have to have these problems. Unless I am doing something wrong

 I have the latest ver   I pay each month for the Subscription with PS as well  I will check and get back to you  Thank you  2015.12   I just updated it last week

  I just tried to open with Preview and " currently does not support this raw file format.  Whats the Solution

I don't have a GXF50 so I downloaded a raw file from this site

Imported it into LR CC Classic - Latest 7.4

No issues. Everything works fine.

Are you new to LR and computers in general? Saw the other post where copying a file to the SD card was a mystery.

You'll need to be very specific about what you are doing and what is happening when you do this to get any viable help.

2015.12 is not the latest version - it was released 2 years before the GFX existed.

Update to Lr Classic.

  I believe I downloaded the latest ver 2015.9   That is what is needed according to LR for the Fuji GFX 50    How can I tell if the download was done???
   I right clicked on LR and it does not show me the version.  How can I see it ?

The Adobe CC app should show you all the Adobe apps and allow you to update them.  There is no longer a need to download and install apps if you're using CC.  You can also open the apps like Lightroom Classic CC or Lightroom CC from the Adobe CC app.

  I cant BELIEVE THIS .Just found out why this is Happening.  I used a Non Fuji Lens with an adaptor and DID NOT SUPPORT this.  Then I switched to Fuji Native kens and its OK,
   Why should this happen?  I need to use a 3rd party lens   Any suggestions?    Thanks   Dennis

  I know about the apps. They are all up to date.  Why am I having a problem with a 3rd party lens not allowing the images to open in LR?  Thank you

Seems odd.  I've used several adaptors with various lenses and no problems. The camera/lens is just metadata, I"m not sure how it can even affect the raw image data.

The current version of Lightroom is Lightroom Classic CC 7.4 Release  Camera Raw 10.4

   LET ME THANK Everyone on the Forum for their Support in trying to Resolve the problem I HAD,  The Problem was with LR not having the Latest Version which I tried a few times to install and could NOT( Dont Know Why)  I contacted Adobe support and after 30 minutes with the Tech it was RESOLVED,  I am now Happy to be able to use my 3rd Party Lenses.  Thank you all again
