Won’t ES reduce the vibration?

I use ES when focus stacking macro static subjects.  There is zero vibration. At that point the only source of vibration is the lens’ incremental focus movements.  You can hear a light “focus motor buzz” between shots.   So, I can set the interval to several seconds if I think the lens movement might be inducing any vibration into the system.
