PS Shake Reduction Tool
« on: June 17, 2018, 09:46:36 am »

Is there any way to use the above tool in specific areas of an image.  There seems not to be a way to define a distinct area in an image to apply Shake Reduction.  Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Brian

Copy the image to another layer, apply the filter to it, then use a mask to limit the layer's effect.

Alternatively, select the area, apply the filter. Although the filter dialog's preview does show the whole image area, only the selected area is actually adjusted.

If you make a smart layer then you can change the parameters at any time, if needed.
