It was just one of those really pleasant evenings a couple of nights ago, nothing special, but just really pleasant.

This is also a mono conversion of a shot I  used for my little review of the Hoya 10 stop screw in filter, which can be found here.

Yes I agree, the colours in the first shot are OK, but by turning it into a B/W and adding a little more PP to it, as you can with a B/W and much, much more than you can ever do with colour, and which seems to have lifted it a little bit more.

I now need to reshoot this scene properly and when the light is much better than merely pleasant I think, which probably means November when the sun will be setting on the upper right compositional third of this frame  ;)

..and that is exactly why we all need to keep going back to the same locations over and over again, if we really want to get that OMG money shot  :D
