I was born in New Orleans and though I left 30+ years ago, it still has a strong pull. I miss the South though I may never return. I spent too many nights at the Maple Leaf bar, Tipitina’s and other music venues seeing and listening to the genius of home grown musicians.

Louisiana is a unique and special place, and though it’s not clear from your web gallery if you are a denizen, it’s good to know there are folks who care. Your wetland photos are quite nice.

Hello Omer.

Your reply is very much appreciated as are your memories of the great places to hear wonderful New Orleans music. Will never forget hearing 'The Rebirth Brass Band' at Mapleleaf. They transformed the whole place into one glorious celebration.

I do live here. Came to work in the wetlands after Katrina.

Hope you'll come back sometime.

Richard

PS- Thanks for the kind words about my wetland photos.
