Martha's Vineyard, late May
« on: June 03, 2018, 12:19:25 am »

I spent a week in West Tisbury. Great weather and few tourists this time of year.

Looks like you had a good time. The sheeps have good discipline.

The sheep are my favourite shot, and number 2 also feels perfectly moody.

It's a shame you couldn't make it over here, Eric, but New England seems a very acceptable substitute.

The second one and the sheep are my favorites. Great set all around.

Fine images! The new england summer fog looks to have been providing atmosphere on demand...

Thanks, all.

Our first two days were nicely foggy: photographic but not dangerous fro driving. Once the sun came out, I thought that might be the end of photography for the week, but there was lots quite beautiful even in full sun. I'll post more soon.

Eric - Marvellous set!  I did a quick & dirty horizontal flip of the bovine. See attached.

Thanks, Scott.
And Thanks Rajan. I like your flipped bovine idea. It wouldn't obey when asked to turn and head in the other direction.
PS to the rescue.

Lovely. The locale does a very credible version of Olde Englande.

A very nice set. But I am much amused by the sheep image. Not always easy to convey humor in photography, and you have done that nicely.

Thanks, gents.

Here are a couple more: My version using Rajan's technique to persuade the cow to face the other direction, and a family of Canada geese.

I also plan to post some trees over in the Tree thread.

Very nice set Eric.
I do like the inhabitants. Facing either way.
