Publishing dates from older articles
« on: May 17, 2018, 10:00:10 am »

Hi Kevin & Chris,

I just enjoyed browsing some old stuff from Michael, e.g. his article on the Pentax 67: https://luminous-landscape.com/pentax67ii/
The publishing date is January 13, 2009, but I think the article is from 2001. Probably this difference is caused by the migration to the new Website some time ago, but I didn't check other articles (this one was obvious to me). I just want to ask if you know this "bug" and if you have plans to correct the date(s)? I think it would be nice to have and to correctly show such a history!

Bst regards,

Heiko

We are aware of this.  Many older html editors didn’t allow or have date meta data and thus don’t show and we defaulted those to one date.  When discovered our team tries to fix them but there are a lot.  Of course many links are also not working as many sites have shut down or changed link addresses. On those article you have to the best you can.

Hi Kevin,

thanks for your fast reply. Sounds like an interesting project for an intern  ;)
