My First Street Shot
« on: May 15, 2018, 04:20:01 pm »

I think this was my first street shot. It was 1953 in Taegu, Korea. I was using an Ikoflex, which was sort of a poor man's Rollei.

+1.

It was the start of something good, I'd say.

Timeless.   I have no doubt you could go back there and take a similar shot today.  As for the Ikoflex, it was a Zeiss product with a great Tessar lens.  Nothing second rate about it. :)

Hi Kent,

I didn't mean to imply that the Ikoflex was second rate. It just was a lot less expensive than the Rollei. But you're right. That lens was unbeatable.
