Pro 1000 Paper Size Restrictions

I have a Pro-1000 , which I am very happy with. Has anyone worked out a go-around the 25 inch paper length restriction? I though about printing an image on a longer piece of paper, then reversing it and printing the rainder out. Also, are there cheaper alternatives to the canon chroma optimzer?

No, haven't seen any way of overcoming this limit of 25,5". The idea with "reverse" printing will like not succeed, as I doubt you can get the two parts to fit/register without looking bad.

Quick solution, get an Epson with roll support .
