I have a Surface Book and it's brilliant.  The real keyboard, the extra battery capacity and extra graphics horsepower (a real GPU), really make a difference.

As I replied in your other thread the Surface Pro has a smaller screen, makes things complicated.

I'll be traveling so I compared the older Surface Pro that we have with the other laptop, a 13.3" HP Spectre 360. The weight difference is only 6 oz for a bigger screen, better battery and for this generation difference more power.
Even on the 13.3" things are busy on LR, in Photoshop is even worse. Power is not the great either. Works for travel and some light editing but not for a main machine.

Surface Book all the way (15") if you can afford it. Small screens are a pain to work with ESPECIALLY when editing. (My desktop has 2 24" monitors.) I'm seriously considering the Surface Book, but am also looking at the Asus Zenbook Pro UX550VE and the Lenovo Yoga 720 (though the 730 has been announced). The Surface Book has some fo the highest reviews. All three are about 70-73% AdobeRGB. Unfortunately, only the Dell XPS15 is 99% AdobeRGB.

What is your goal on editing on the go? Personally I do all my editing on my colour managed workstation at home as I find portable devices are just not made for critical editing.
