I've seen many pictures of a similar hair style, but it was a man.

I think the image is too static. The person coupled with the orange dress is very powerful and is right in the centre with nothing to propel the person or the eye in moving forward. Try a crop on the left just past the cow, it helps the person appear to be more dynamic as she moves into the right of the frame. Despite not seeing her face, it is still a good cultural image.

It seems like it might work in a series, like as part of a report on an area, more than a stand alone image. The colors look nice to me.

Good shooting, Jeremy. It's refreshing to see a photograph with a person in it, doing something interesting instead of looking straight at the camera. Those twigs are just the right color (colour?)
