Even with your trademarked trees relegated to the background, where they provide perfect support for the slant of reeds.

Do you happen to know P H Emerson, "Marsh leaves"? One of my (very old) heroes. Definitely some resemblance - which is a good thing. Your snow photos are very good.

It is a beautiful image, but I had to come to it a second time to fully appreciate it. Would have loved to put a drone up, may be just 10 feet high, to see what (if anything) the separation between the reeds and the horizon might purchase.

In this case, the drone would be the modern equivalent of Ansel Adams setting his tripod on the roof of his car :-)
