Monkey with a Coke bottle - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Long-tailed macaque trying to open a Coke bottle, eventually biting through the bottom and drinking from it.

A7r3 with 100-400 GM. All shots at 1/125, f/5.6, ISO 640.

The last two images show the monkey tasting it, then spitting it out.

As an aside, eye focus worked on them. It also worked on Japanese macaques. Not as well as on humans, but still better than nothing. Haven't had a chance to try it on great or lesser apes yet.

Also, it turns out monkeys have fingerprints. Never actually thought about that until I saw the patterns while processing the photos.
