I think you nailed it, because now the Coors and Corona really stand out, and the Bud is quite clear (but not Lighted like the others).

You hemmed and hawed just right then. The surround is dark but not black. Looks quite good on my main monitor as well as the tablet one. I especially like how you kept the aspect ratio and gave the subject a lot of room "to breath". In fact, it is the one thing that I would remark about the previous gas-station image, it could also use the wider aspect ratio similar to this image, in order to focus the audience. Focussing the viewer is especially important these days imo, because we reside in a world of visual abundance. It is exactly what I like about these images of yours, this specific, recognisable method of separating the subject.

This was a bear to print. It looks really good on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta, not as much so on Epson Ultra Premium Luster Photo Paper. I like it best on the screen--no wonder, it's about light.
