Neal Preston documented a lot of rock and roll (with such artists as Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, & Whitney Houston).  There is a real nice compendium of his images out now accompanied by some great reminiscences.  Exhilarated and Exhausted is the book title and it's well worth the money.
