Jennifer Myers and old homesteads
« on: March 02, 2018, 10:10:19 am »

Hopefully Jennifer Myers article on old homesteads is of interest to many of us. Her fotos are very fine and the record she's making is invaluable. Am very glad LuLa gave her a grant.

A agree. This is an interesting project.

The photos don't do a *lot* for me, as such, but I am very interested to see how this shapes up in the long term. I think the
photographer is probably still working out just how to photograph these things.

I hope LuLa makes a point of following this project, it seems to be a potentially rather long term project with, perhaps, some twists
and turns that would make good stories and also teach us some things.

I enjoyed Jennifer's photographs. I have an interest in structures of 1800 and early 1900s, especially homesteads, towns and mining towns. They are difficult to find. Jennifer, good luck on the next stages.
