hi, i changed over from 45 to nikon d3x then d800 with the 24, 45 and 85 pce lenses, it was certainly liberating after lugging around all those dark slides.
checking out your work though i don't think it's going to satisfy you too much, the 45 pce in my opinion is not as good as the 85 pce and certainly dosen't have that "look" that your images have.
50mm is difficult on 135 format, to get that "look" that ticks all the boxes, distorion, focus, bokeh, etc... the otus seems the one to get. from what i can see though, i'd be tempted to try the leica 50's, the v4 summicron (oh, wait you sold the sony!) non asph ones on the a7rII that takes nice images (no t/s though.) or perhaps the ASPH ones on a leica rangefinger, it's not large format for sure but the images are great and it's not got that "digital boredom" factor...
