Yes. Interesting lighting, it seems to vary across the image. Extra light on the birch?

Yes I used the built-in flash to compensate for the back lighting.

It's got a Giger xenomorph-ic vibe.

Haha. I wanted to make this silver birch pop in the picture and not blend in with the background. I have made several pictures of this tree throughout the year just because it is so amazing.
