Feeling peaceful?

Concerning the first set, the answer would be no, yes, and no.  Please understand that I think all three are good photographs.

In the first image, I get an anxious feeling. To me, this is an image about something about to happen. The sky is lighter on the left and darker on the right. My eye moves from the left to the right and my attention is attracted about what could happen in this scene.

The second image, I do find relaxing.  Nothing is happening or to be more accurate, what might happen has already happened. I like the curve of the rocks and the brightness of the sky brings my eye straight down.

The third image is ominous. The blue tint, to me, invokes a feeling of risk.  This is not a place I should be and if I were there, I would feel like I should leave.

Despite the similar compositions of little ground and a lot of sky in the first two and the opposite in the third image, you have captured, at least for me, three separate emotional reactions.

I think you did a good job on these images and I am envious of the effects you were able to produce.... at least from my interpretation.

I shoot with a Camera Obscura with an optical device attached that refracts and transmits light.

Yes, very peaceful. This first one is just right for me, with those pastel colors. The second one is close but I prefer the colors of #1.

Thank you.

I think photography in Iceland is made easier by the winter, the good light persists for a very long time. This shot was taken around 10.30am local time during one of the many car stops, if you lose focus you risk not arriving to your initial destination.

All three are nice. To me, the first is the quietest.

Agreed, no disturbance, just pure quietness! The whole set is wonderful!

Thank you. It turned up better than I expected. All are taken from the side of the road or even from the moving car.
