Stones
« on: February 07, 2018, 02:36:33 pm »

Had to make an emergency visit to our new CU Hospital just down the road from us. A kidney stone woke me up at about 2 a.m. this morning. By 3 a.m. I was at the Emergency Room.
I shot the hospital about a one month ago. Used a 400mm to pull in Longs Peak right behind it.  I thought the clouds and lighting were nice.
I'm stable now and should be able to return to work tomorrow.  If you've never had a stone, trust me, you would much rather be at work than go through the pain it dolls out.

Well, if it takes a stone to get you to post a picture like that, I'm all for it, Joe. -- as long as it's your stone.

I agree: that photo is worth a stone (yours!).

I have had two of them, so I know what it's like. Mine were 32 years apart, so I'm hoping the next one won't be for another 32 years.

Do stay well hydrated to avoid a repeat.
