Thank you Neil, glad you enjoyed it!
Nice to see something a bit different from there. Great capture.
Thank you very much Kevin, glad you liked it!
It's challenging, but a welcome challenge to me, to tackle such known and photographed locations: it always inspires me to try and do something personal and different with them. Succeeding... well, that's a different business of course!
Lovely.
Thank you very much Eric, glad you liked it!
Superb
Thank you very much Bill, glad you liked it!
Great shot with wonderful colour contrast.
How many exposures were used to create this image?
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it!
Only one exposure, I never do combined exposures if I can help it - and I found that with modern cameras and sensors, and using filters properly, you can get away without multiple exposures 99% of the times...
Glorious sky! The wide landscape makes the berg look small.
Well done, bravo.
Thank you very much indeed Francois, glad you enjoyed it!
Glorious, Vieri. I've come to expect nothing less from you.
Jeremy
Thank you very much Jeremy for your comment, that's very kind, much appreciated!
Very nice!
Thank you very much!
Awful, just awful.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, i get it. Contrasts. Contrasts is what generates interest in landscape images. I get that. And here we see contrasting elements strongly supported by contrasting colors, tastefully rendered colors, i will grant you that. But clearly, Vieri, this image grabs attention, draws you in so to speak. Grabs you and draws you in to the scene.
In to what? In to water that very apparently was well below freezing. That's just cold, man, presenting us such icecold beauty from an even colder vantage point.
Awful, just awful.
;-)
Thank you for your comment! Cold it was, indeed!
opgr, in the real world it is possible to have warm colours in a cold environment. This has been especially relevant for me in the last few weeks shooting in the Alps where the warmth of the sun gives life to a cold scene.
Vieri's work is always of the highest standard and his interpretation of the scene is precisely that, interpretation.
Thank you very much for your words, much appreciated indeed!
+1
Thank you Slobodan!
Best regards,
Vieri
