Tip: Fine Curve Control in Capture one
« on: January 14, 2018, 09:13:30 am »

Apologies if this is common knowledge... but I stumbled across a nice feature for fine tuning Curves in C1. If you hold CTRL or SHFT and scroll the mouse wheel you gain incremental control along the orange axis that show up when your cursor hovers over a curve point.

Thanks for that. You can do steps with the cursor-buttons as well. But your method works as a mouse over which is very conveniant.
By the way: The size of the steps is determined by the size of the window. For very smooth processing I'll maximize the curve window to get 1/4 steps for each RGB-point.

With mice that allow horizontal scrolling by pushing the scroll wheel laterally (for example: some Logitech models), you can also nudge the curve points horizontally.

You can also use the four arrow keys to to more a selected point. One arrow click is one point of movement.

Hold the Shift key and the move is 5 points.

Yes, I always click/drag to where I roughly want to be and then fine tune with the 4 arrow keys.
