Hasselblad Phocus 3.3 Color Space
« on: January 10, 2018, 01:14:23 am »

Hi,

When using Phocus 3.3 can I export to ProPhoto RGB to preserve the full gamut?

If so how as I am not seeing this option  when trying to select from the default output presets dialog.

TIFF = Adobe RGB (1998)
TIFF16 = Adobe RGB (1998)
JPEG FullSize = sRGB IEC61966-2.1 etc...

If I export as a TIFF16 into Photoshop, incoming file into Photoshop I change the colorspace to ProPhoto RGB will that work? or have I already lost the extra info?

This then begs the question should my iMac be in ProPhoto RGB color space too? If not what should it be in?

Thx

Well they are default presets, you need to create one.
When you click on an image and click Export from the top it comes up with an finder window and a selected preset drop down.
Click "Edit" > "+" > Type a name, File format TIFF-16, Dimensions Full size, Output profile ProPhoto RGB > OK
Click Export
