That last one has an interesting tension in depicting a foreboding glow of hope. You know, that false hope of maybe getting just a wee bit warmer again...

My vote goes for the third image, which I think is the stand out winner from this set, although the others are really good, the colour and composition of the third shot just lifts it far above the others for me.

Beautiful set! The first is my favorite tree but the last has the best light. All very nice.
This time last year we had 3-4 feet of snow in town but this year is very lean in comparison. You photos really make me wish for snow!

The location for #3 is a favorite, two more attached.
#2 was coldest, -28 °C. Battery in the pocket, no eyeglasses, good cold fun.
