Very much agree with you Russ about that "sensory bridge" between Walker and Robert. Both seemed to have that still/quiet ability to wait for the shot to work it's way to them informed by the inner workings of spirit.
Walker's wife of 10 years, Isabelle, lives not too far from me here along the Reach~ frail, but can you imagine 10 years married to the man? She did a wonderful little memoir of her years with Walker.
I only came to know of her proximity when my CT lawyer asked me if I was aware that his Swiss mother-in-law is my neighbor. Her current husband is a wonderful and vibrant soul~
I spent the night hours after midnight shooting blind as the super moon shadows crept along the Reach. As I held the 60 sec shots, one for black one for light, I continually repeated to myself the urging to "wait for the light to come to you", so it was with much pleasure I read your post. Have enjoyed you since my first moments on Lula... Fine wine... Best, p.
Looking forward to getting at the raws from this shoot later today... Hoping even one indicated it was trying it's best to make it's way to me~
