i1Profiler Test Chart Orientation and Copyright Overlap
« on: December 24, 2017, 01:33:37 am »

I'm using i1 profiler to print a test chart to calibrate my printer/paper and I'm having 2 issues:

I'm using Basic Profiling since this is my first attempt

1- The X-rite Copyright info is slightly overlapping the patches at the bottom of the chart (attached file)

2- This may not be an issue actually, but I can't find where I can change the paper orientation on the sample that i1 profiler shows on screen. It comes out as Landscape Orientation. While I can control how it comes out in terms of actual printing later in the driver setting, is there anywhere I can select it in i1 Profiler itself ?

Thx

It looks like you don't get a choice in Basic mode. On my Mac, the size for the 800 patches is 27.1 x 14.7. It looks fine at that size, The font on your attached file is quite different to what I am seeing so I guess that you are on Windows.

It's Windows alright... I selected US Letter for paper size since that is what I am printing on.

Sorry, I have no idea about i1p on Windows.

Not seeing that problem here on W7 i1P 1.7.1.
It all works as expected.

That's just a screen shot, is the actual file output the same ?

Works fine for me too in Adv. mode as well as regular mode with 800 patch set. Win 10 x64.
Also tried changing screen rez but all configurations worked.

If you wish to continue with your profile, PM me and I can send you the files. I just generated them for Letter size.

I have this bug with my Microsoft surface pro 4 as well.
i believe this is due to the high resolution screen isn't supported by the i1profiler software.

I use my other desktops/laptops to generate the chart. So far I have no solution to fix this issue......
