Fog in Cumbria (Holme Fell)
« on: December 21, 2017, 12:24:10 pm »

We have had a few days of fog. I spent a very wet day on the fells. After looking at the images produced I have worked out what I like and what not. So for me it is depth in the image. This image is not very dramatic but I like it. Next foggy day and I will be back but with some knowledge this time. Ken

I risk mis-quoting him, but I think it was Jay Maisel who said "Never trust air you can't see or taste".

Very fine image!

Well...if you dissatisfied with this image Ken, then I cannot wait to see the one that you are really satisfied with!
I just add my voice to the chorus of applause...

Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment. Tony it is not that I am dissatisfied with the image it is that the light was very poor and I have had to push an pull the file quite a lot and although I have produced the impression that the fog was breaking at the bottom left, this is just post processing tricks and I know that nature could do it much better than me. I could have to go out a few hundred times to get what I am looking for but I will continue looking. Ken

I like it and every image does not need to be dramatic.
