I got a holiday present today when I started up the i1Profiler.

V1.7.2 | XRD Version 3.0.11 is available as an update and brings compatibility to High Sierra.

I profiled my MBP and things look good so I think they finally straightened things out.

I've got the auto update OFF because I've seen in the past, they fix one bug, introduce another. So I'll wait a bit....
The info that comes up about the upgrade (which again, in X-rite's kind of dysfunctional coding doesn't allow me to copy and paste; WTF) shows this:

The disconnect in the two messages to the user is very sad.
Why does mine show 1.7.1 and yours 1.7.2?

1.7.2 is the latest version for the Mac.  1.7.1 was the previous version that had issues with High Sierra.

On my MBP it automatically updated to 1.7.2 within the X-Rite app when I launched.  On my iMac I had to go to the link and download the update.

One thing with my i1 Display Pro software is that the puck must be plugged in for it to phone home and get registered.  The colorimeter is a big dongle for X-Rite.

Not on this end. Maybe I didn't upgrade, not sure. I've turned off auto update being burned in the past. Now it doesn't even tell me there's an update!
