English Lake District
« on: December 12, 2017, 08:52:00 pm »

Lots of things make this a typical Lake District scene. The boathouse is turned into an expensive holiday let. The hills are pleasant but rounded and safe. It is cold but not too cold and although there is snow it is just a dusting. It was also typical that I arrived too late to photograph the beautiful sunrise peaches and pinks that had been illuminating the sky as I drove towards here. But that would have made it even more " chocolate boxy". Comments? Ken

I like chocolates in a box and I often like the appearance of the box, too. But this is a fine shot.

This is very beautiful.
(I know how it is if you're still driving and the sky is beautiful and you just don't get there fast enough ... but I think here it was not too late, indeed!)

Thanks for the comments. Terry I never tire of beauty especially as I see very little of it when I look in the mirror, beauty within perhaps. Ken
