I still use Aperture for a large portion of my catalog. I just got an Epson P800 printer, and am doing my first test prints. I have run into an issue with a magenta cast on black and white images only. The monitor is calibrated, and I had custom profiles made for the papers I use most.
I printed the standard Printer Evaluation Image, and it looks great, including the black and white portions. When I print one of my own black and white images, there is a magenta cast both on the image that appears in the print dialog box, and on the print itself. A test print of a color image looked great. I tried opening the same black and white image in Photoshop, and printing from there, and it was perfect.
The obvious work around is to always print through Photoshop, but I have never had to do that before. Any ideas?
