Thank you Bernard

We took our time and thought about this thoroughly.
There are other products which offer Shift for Nikon or longer flange focal distance mounts,
but that was not what we wanted. Canon EF is our standard interface and we wanted to give a second Y-axis to the TS-E lenses
(especially for the new 50,90 and 135mm)

so we made a little wonder of 3 movements (2x rotation for lens and camera independently) and shift with bidirectional 2x15mm on a very thin 18mm.

this is only possible because we took all the experiences of the Mirex line, the HCam Master TS V2 and the HCam HDS Doubleshifter
and made something touching the limits of precision mechanics and materials. It could not be even a 1/10th of a mm less, or it would not be possible.

Markus Michelberger from Mirex who built this and myself who thought and talked to customers about this for some time
have done the barely possible.

Now lets see what the market says.

Hi Stefan,

Does the DRS have the electronics to control aperture on EF lenses?  ...and if it does, will it also provide lens data?

Thanks.

Hi Jeff

Sorry as with all our adapters - no electronic connection.
360 degree rotation is the first reason
second reason: there is no space at all for the contacts.

Not to be compared.

HCam Master TS is for more universal usage.

HCam HDS Doubleshifter is actually a shrunk down Frame/Viewcamera for X and Y Movements like an Alpa, Arca, Cambo Frame.
this is made for Architecture in the most compact setup ever.

Stefan!!!  Add me back on FB please :(

In regards to this adapter it is well worth the money.  The larger internal throat allows one to stitch 645/66/67 and many other lenses without vignetting or bokeh-deformation (around the peripheral of the image)

Bob-
that´s a NON Problem - as you can use e.g. Novoflex Nikon To EF Adapter and mount the 19mm easily and safely.
(which is in fact what several of our customers do !)

I can confirm that the combination of Nikon PC-E 19mm with the Novoflex Nikon to EF and the DRS shift adapter works very well. I use it on the GFX 100 with perfect results.
No electronic control of aperture though. I use it with aperture preset to f13. If you don't like that, then this solution is not for you. For me it works.

The steelsring would allow aperture control. But it strongly vignettes when shifted because the interior of the adapter is very narrow (probably to accomodate the electronics and not getting too large).
Even other adapters without electronics and a wider interior (Fotodiox dumb adapter e.g.) have one very special problem when used for the PC-E 19mm: there is some vignetting on the bottom of the image when you shift up more than 6mm. It took me a while to understand that it was not the adpater that caused the vignetting, but the part of the lens that contains the electronic contacts (which is only on one side of the lens). This vignetting only happens when you shift up, not when you shift down. That indicated it must be the lens contacts.

Back to the DRS shift adapter: it allows me to rotate the whole setup by any degree I want. So I use it to rotate the lens by 180° when I shift up (most common direction). So I can avoid vignetting from the lens contacts completely. The results are spectacular for such a wide lens. Far superior to the Canon TS-E 17mm.

In theory it's possible.  Nikon flange distance to sensor is 17mm and Fuji G is 26.7mm, so just less than 10mm for the adapter and shift mechanism.

That won't work in any case at the moment. The Fuji G 23mm has focus by wire and an electronic Aperture.
