Went to Colorado in October for Fall colors and January showed up.

Very nice!
A choppy lake really lends itself to a longer exposure.

Very pleasant view on those snowy peaks. Fog sets the mood along with the last golden leaves.

Excellent. I really like the mix of winter monochrome tones and late autumn color.

It reminds me of July in the Canadian Rockies in a snow storm.  :)

This looks like a really nice exposure and you have been able to capture all of the light in the scene really well.

My only nitpick (if I may be so bold), would be the small snow covered rock on the right, that appears to be touching the edge of the frame. Don't know why and you can call me an old pedant if you like, but I always try to avoid compositional elements touching the edge of the frame if I can, it just seems to work better that way and stops the viewers eye wandering out of the frame.

But other than that, I wish I had been there with you, as I would have also like to have a go at this scene myself  ;)
