Explosive Tranquility
« on: November 13, 2017, 04:24:13 pm »

I saw the sky filling with these great clouds and ducked out of work a little early Friday to get somewhere for a reasonable shot. I made it to this little pond off a nearby creek just in time before the color faded. Beautifully calm that evening!

Lovely!

Great shot. As a minor nit, I would like to see a bit more room at the bottom, so the pond has a little more breathing space.

Thanks!
I probably got one like that as I did a number of variations, trying to cover all my bases. But this one stood out as my favorite. The ones with more room in the foreground gained room to breathe but also some distractions.

Very good catch, you were pretty lucky with the clouds. Fitting shapes.
