Odeceixe
« on: November 13, 2017, 04:26:18 am »

This is a beach in SW Portugal, very popular with surfers and beach goers in general. I was there end of October, the weather was still warm enough for a normal day at the beach, swimming and all. There is a path that takes you to the cliffs on the northern side, where the view is great. I shot a few panoramas.

The third photo is from the nearby fishing village Azenha do Mar.

Regards.

I also like the second one a lot. There's not enough "water" in the first one. The last one is also very pleasing although different.
Well done, time well spent!

The second one is beautiful. I suspect it will be even better in more mellow light just before sunset.

Thanks gents.

Rajan, unfortunately, the weather has been quite uncooperative, with virtually no rain for months, no clouds, just clear skies... this pano was taken maybe 10 or 15 minutes before sunset, with the Sun shining a lot:)

I have added another pano that includes the Sun, for reference. I don't like this one very much, as the horizon is a bit wonky, this was made with 18 shots.

Regards.

+1. The second one seems to encapsulate the beauty of the location especially well.

And in the new one, if you just crop out the sun on the right, you have almost exactly the second post, which some of us feel is the real winner.   ;)
