Impressing, one more of those pictures which need to be seen big, I guess.

(Just because I'm curious, nothing to do with your picture, really: "Storm over Yosemite" and the like is of course something one "knows", I wonder whether there really are these conditions this often or if this is just a completely wrong impression 'cause these pictures are so (mis-)leading.)

Yes, this is the classic Valley View.  Most of the year it is sunny and too bright to get the shot.  However, this can be a wonderful spot in both the morning or evening to see a storm slowly break up.  So yes in a way this shot is totally misleading because it doen't look like that today.
