Last weekend we had a Wooden Boat Festival at a local fishing town. (No, not Port Townsend, but in the Netherlands). Many traditional wooden sail boats from all over the country gather here and the festivities include the usual display of traditional craftsmanship. One of which is smoking a variety of fish. Well, even though I don't particularly find fish appetizing, I thought that the following "before" and "after" image would make an interesting viewing experience. The smoked result went straight on a platter. Luckily, considering the "before" image, the FDA was nowhere near to be seen.
