Yes, the complimentary hues are nice, and I have to say it does look cold. The first (portrait orientation) is my favorite of the two.

Great location with a dozen remarkable detail/design/abstract photos within either photograph shown. Worth spending more time there.

Where were these made? No, I don’t want to find your tripod marks; I’m just curious where (on the Prairies?)

Thanks, Terry. I went here specifically for some abstracts of the waves in the ice, but the sunlight and landscape seemed more interesting.
