Don't you think this link is more interesting? https://www.theguardian.com/travel/gallery/2017/oct/16/landscape-photographer-of-the-year-2017-11-uk-scenery-in-pictures  Well done.
I find it more interesting.
John's list includes a nice landscape by one Ken Rennie. Somehow that ame sounds familiar.   ;)

Thanks for the link to the Guardian article. My wife is now out buying every copy in town. Although I knew about the inclusion in Landscape Photographer of the Year I am just one of the many not one of the winners. The Guardian article will stop me needing to casually mentioning it to everyone I know ;-) I am so bad a judge of my own photography that I nearly didn't enter this image only using it because I had 7 entries and couldn't think of anything else that fitted into the category of man in the landscape. The image of Lichfield Cathedral is tremendous and makes me wsnt to stop and visit the next time I am travelling South. Ken

That was the one I liked most - I think you'll need wellies - and the one of Brighton Pier was clever.

Unfortunately I note that some of the winning shots were taken with drones and only could only be taken with them. I find the noise of drones annoying and can imagine what will soon happen at popular locations as multiple photographers jostle for space in the sky. I sometimes come across photographers who plonk themselves down in front of me as I wait for the light to change. Perhaps lessons in 3D geometry should be compulsory before the purchase of any drone. I do tend to have luddite tendencies. Ken
